Some of our projects:

A project running now for 10 years is the stenciling of house numbers on the kerb-side.  This may assist emergency services and even that pizza deliverer in finding homes especially at night.  The numbering project was extended to rubbish, recycling and green waste bins to aid identification and discourage theft.

More recently and with the assistance and approval of our local Council, 'Remember 50' stickers were placed on waste bins in our area.  The stickers are a reminder to drivers that the speed in our area is 50 kph.

Who and where are we?

NHW491 is an active group operating in the Aberfoyle Park & Happy Valley area;  it represents some 2,900 homes and a Newsletter is delivered to each of these in the weeks leading up to every meeting which are held on the third Mondays of the odd month.  If you are a resident in the area you are most welcome to attend and contribute at the meetings.  Around 20 to 30 residents usually attend together with our Police Coordinator.
